Interlude 6 – i to the i power = ?

Interlude 6 – ii = ?, where i = √-1

This gives a quick “taste” of how complex numbers should be taught.  How many high school math graduates or teachers understand this?   And, they should since it is the basis for much future mathematics.  After all, the great physicist Richard Feynman learned this in high school and was very impressed by it.  Of course, complex numbers are indispensable in quantum electrodynamics (QED) for which he became famous.
